I went to the local dealer (Castle Powersports) to ask about bigger jets and they only wanted to talk about selling me a new carb. I had rather try the jets before spending $200.00+ for a new carb.Here's what I do normally: first, sit on the seat. Turn the key to "on"...then turn the headlights on. Then turn the key to "start". If the headlights don't dim very much or not at all, usually it's the starter that has a problem. 1996 mule 2510,it sat for 4 or 5 years.There is only 150 hours on meter. I took carb off and complely disasembled. Soaked in cleaner and made sure all passages were clear. Yes there is an adjustment, - if it is "self adjusting", - you will have to pull the brake drum off and look at it, - you just turn the adjuster back about 1 or 2 turns, and then see how it "spins -- (after you have re-installed brake drum), and applied brakes once to "center the brake shoes"!
