Shotguns are the “best” in my opinion but the 200sound tiles are definitely a turn off for them. The m63 revolver is nice it’s a lot more better for stealth ish situations. I use pistols only since their noise range is just the range at which you can zoom out. For grinding aim it's the shotgun and only the shotgun.
The downside of Brita's is really how overpowered weapons can become with the right attachments and weapon skill. I recommend turning down all Spawn rates, save for pistols. My personal thought process is that more people would be carrying pistols around with a single magazine/a empty magazine than a pistol with a whole box of the ammo for it.
