If clutch is defective, most shops will insist on removing the compressor to repair. This requires removal of refrigerant from system, accessory belt, alternator, cooling fan, etc to access the compressor. Suggest having a leak test performed to locate the leak and repair, then recharge w/ some added lubricant 2-3 oz. You can't charge an AC system w/ low side measurement only except in the crudest sense.
